HACK.CENT Lingu.Land HACK.CENT Free masterclass

You already know English.
Now release the sound.

Years of study, and the words still catch on the way out. That is not a knowledge problem.

What HACK.CENT works on

HACK.CENT works on the one layer nobody taught you — what your mouth actually does. Start with the free masterclass: one hour, the full method, and it costs nothing.

No card, no commitment — registering records your interest, not a confirmed seat.

The real problem

Nobody ever showed you what your mouth is doing.

You read contracts in English and follow films without subtitles. Then it is your turn to speak, and you hesitate.

What that costs you, and why

You simplify — so the room hears a smaller version of you than the one that exists.

English is not written the way it is said, and none of that is in the textbook. All of it is learnable, once someone shows you the mechanism.

Grammar was taught. Vocabulary was taught. The sound was left to luck. What HACK.CENT was built to fix
01

You are not missing words

So what is missing

The gap between passive and active command is not vocabulary. It is the motor skill underneath.

02

Accent is not the target

What the target is

Keep your accent. The goal is that every sound you intend arrives, at speed, under pressure.

03

The sound can be drawn

Drawn how

Tongue position, airflow, timing, linking. On a page it stops being a talent and becomes a procedure.

What a lesson looks like

Every other course talks about pronunciation.
We show it.

This is the page a learner is looking at while they practise.

HIGH LOW iː ɪ
Mechanism 01

The vowel you cannot hear yet

Two different sounds, not one sound held longer.

How it is trained

You see where the tongue sits, then you train the ear, then the mouth. Every sound of English is worked the same way — position first, repetition last.

ship /ʃɪp/sheep /ʃiːp/
Mechanism 02

Where words stop being separate

want to go /ˈwɑː.nə ɡoʊ/
3 written words2 spoken units
Mechanism 03

The syllable that carries the word

PHO·to·graph pho·TOG·ra·phy
/ˈfoʊ.tə.ɡræf//fəˈtɑː.ɡrə.fi/

These are not slides. Each mechanism has a tool behind it.

The four tools

IPAZER for transcription, SoundIPA for articulation, Wordefine for meaning in English only, Wordy for keeping what you fixed fixed. All four were built in-house, and the sound map above runs on the same engine as IPAZER.

The program

The training itself.

A guided pronunciation program, start to finish.

What it is built around

Built around the sound inventory of English rather than a textbook's chapter order: the sounds, then the joins between them, then the rhythm that holds a sentence together.

    The order is the method
  • 01Hear the difference.
  • 02See the mechanism.
  • 03Say it under pressure.
Why that order

Hear the difference. Discrimination before performance — you cannot produce a sound you cannot yet tell from its neighbour.

See the mechanism. Position, airflow and timing, drawn and practised one at a time.

Say it under pressure. Slow and correct is the easy half. The work is keeping it correct at speed.

Linking, reduction and stress as their own unit

What those three mean

The part that makes fast speech intelligible, taught deliberately.

IPAZER, SoundIPA, Wordefine and Wordy — included, not sold separately.

Which contrasts are hard depends on where you are coming from.

Why there is no figure here

Not a tactic and not a secret — the figure is not fixed yet, and we would rather publish nothing than publish a number we then change.

  • The masterclass itself is free, now and later
  • No card is asked for at any point before enrolment
  • There is a conversation before either side commits
Free masterclass

Release the Sound

One hour on what English actually does in the mouth.

  • Why your passive English runs ahead of your active English
  • The sounds your first language makes hard, and what to do about them
  • What the program asks of you week to week, and what it costs
What else joining sends you

Joining the list also sends you the IPA sound chart — every sound of English on one printable page — and the sound diagnostic, five minutes that show which contrasts your first language makes hard. Both free.

And the reason for the masterclass itself: years of study did not get you there, and this is the hour that explains why.

Join the list

Two fields. The rest is asked in the application, where it belongs.

Save my place

The date and the number of places are not set yet, so this does not reserve a confirmed seat.

Before you ask.

Will this remove my accent?

No, and it is not trying to. Your accent is yours. The work is making sure every sound you intend actually arrives — at speed, in a real sentence, when it matters.

My grammar and vocabulary are already good. Is this for me?

That is exactly who it is for. The program assumes you know the language and have never been taught the sound layer underneath it.

Do I have to learn the IPA?

You will end up reading it, because it is the only honest way to write a sound down. It takes less time than people expect, and the tools do the transcription for you.

When does the masterclass run, and what does the program cost?

No date is set, and the figure is not fixed yet. Both are stated in the masterclass, in full, before anyone is asked for anything. Joining the list records your interest, not a confirmed seat.
